Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at lcless@sbcglobal.net if you have additional questions.

The Serra Club is an international organization whose members work together to support Catholic religious vocations.  We do this in a variety of ways. We have regular meetings where we have dinner and hear a talk from a guest speaker, generally a seminarian, a priest, a religious sister or a lay person. They talk about their vocation story or their role in the church. Prayer is a big part of our ministry, and we have other social activities that involve seminarians and sisters. We host a day at the lake for seminarians as a last fling before heading back to school. We have many other events throughout the year including a golf tournament each year where the proceeds aid seminarian education.

The Serra Metro Club generally meets twice a month on the first and third Tuesdays. Dinner starts at 6:30. We meet at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 145 S. Millwood in Wichita. Meeting are usually over by 8:15.

Any practicing Catholic is welcome to join the club. We have members from their 20's up to the 80's. If you have an interest in supporting Catholic vocations, then this is the club for you. We have members from 8 different parishes throughout the metro Wichita area.
