Golf Event Highlights

The 2026 Golf Tournament is in the books! We had a very successful year as this year's event had 94 entrants. Sand Creek Station in Newton hosted the event for the 1st time and it proved to be a very good location for the Tourney. The teams featured 17 priests and 9 seminarians in best ball play. 

     Thanks to the Golf Committee headed by Kim Kimbro for putting on another topflight event. Club members and others donated gift cards, Bourbon bottles and wine among other gifts for the players. Proceeds will be presented to Bishop Kemme at the Christmas Party in December.

The 3oth annual (we think) Serra Metro Golf Tournament was a great success. Mild weather, light winds and some great golf all played a part in helping to make the 2025 Serran Golf Tournament fun and enjoyable for all.

     We had 19 teams comprised of 84 golfers playing in this best ball tournament. Of those, 10 were priests and 12 were seminarians. Proceeds will go to one of the many burses to help support seminarians in our diocese. That check will be given to the Bishop in December.
